Reporting a bug

So a problem can be reproduced, include this in your email:

  • device model and OS version (e.g. iPhone 13, iOS 18.2);
  • the Pulsar version, shown at the bottom of the Settings screen;
  • the level number involved;
  • what you were doing right before, and what happened;
  • a screenshot or video if you have one.

Frequently asked questions

How do lives work?

You have up to 5 lives. A life is lost only when you fail a level or quit it — never when you start one. One life regenerates every 20 minutes, even with the app closed. Some packs grant unlimited lives for a set duration; durations stack if you buy several.

I changed phones — where is my progress?

Progress is stored on the device only: there is no account and no cloud save. Switching devices, uninstalling the app or clearing its data resets progress. Purchases, however, are tied to your Apple or Google account — see the next question.

How do I restore my purchases?

Settings → Restore purchases. Note that only "No ads" can be restored, because it is the only non-consumable product. Packs and Shards are consumable: once credited they belong to the install on that device and cannot be restored — that is an Apple and Google store rule, not an app decision.

I paid but nothing was credited

Fully close the app and reopen it: receipt validation runs again at launch. If nothing changes, use Settings → Restore purchases. If it still fails, email us with the receipt Apple or Google sent you (order number, date, amount): we check and fix it manually.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store, not by us. On iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android: Google Play order history. Do email us as well if the purchase failed — we can back up your request.

Why am I seeing ads?

Pulsar is free and ad-funded. An interstitial appears every 5 to 7 games. Rewarded ads are always voluntary: you start them yourself to earn a life or a hint. Any pack at €4.99 or above, as well as the "No ads, forever" product, permanently removes interstitials. Rewarded ads stay available if you want them.

How do I change my advertising consent?

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: Settings → Ad privacy. On iOS you can also revoke tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Details in the privacy policy.

I am stuck on a level

Every level has exactly one solution, and every solution is reachable by reasoning alone: no level requires a purchase. If you are stuck, the three hints help without solving it for you — Scanner reveals a cell, Locator reveals a celestial body, Sweep analyses a whole line. They are earned by playing. And if you believe a level is genuinely impossible, send us its number: we will replay it.

How do I change the language?

Settings → Language: français, English, español. The choice is independent of your system language.

Does the game work offline?

Yes, entirely. A connection is needed only to load an ad or complete a purchase. With no network you can play all 180 levels normally.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the app, or clear its data from system settings: everything Pulsar stored goes with it. We run no server, so there is nothing to delete on our side. For advertising data, see the privacy policy.
